2030 કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સની મેજબાની કરશે અમદાવાદ, કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ એક્ઝિક્યુટિવ બોર્ડે કરી ભલામણ
Commonwealth Games 2030: કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ એક્ઝિક્યુટિવ બોર્ડે આજે પુષ્ટિ આપી છે કે તે 2030 કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ માટે અમદાવાદને પ્રસ્તાવિત યજમાન શહેર તરીકે ભલામણ કરશે.
Commonwealth Games 2030: કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ એક્ઝિક્યુટિવ બોર્ડે આજે પુષ્ટિ આપી છે કે તેઓ 2030 કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ માટે પ્રસ્તાવિત યજમાન શહેર તરીકે અમદાવાદના નામની ભલામણ કરશે. હવે અમદાવાદને સંપૂર્ણ કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ સભ્યપદ માટે આગળ મૂકવામાં આવશે. અંતિમ નિર્ણય 26 નવેમ્બર, 2025 ના રોજ ગ્લાસગોમાં કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ જનરલ એસેમ્બલીમાં લેવામાં આવશે. જો ગ્લાસગોમાં નિર્ણય ભારતના પક્ષમાં આવશે, તો ભારત બીજી વખત કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સનું આયોજન કરશે. ભારતે અગાઉ 2010 કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સનું આયોજન કર્યું હતું.

કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ મૂલ્યાંકન સમિતિએ વિગતવાર પ્રક્રિયાને અનુસરીને અમદાવાદની ભલામણ કરી હતી. સમિતિએ ટેકનિકલ પાસાઓ, રમતવીરોના અનુભવ, માળખાગત સુવિધાઓ, શાસન અને કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સના મૂલ્યોના આધારે આ નિર્ણય લીધો હતો. યજમાનીની સ્પર્ધામાં ભારતે નાઇજીરીયાને હરાવ્યું હતું. કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ 1930 માં કેનેડાના હેમિલ્ટનમાં શરૂ થઈ હતી. તેથી, 2030 કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ એક ઐતિહાસિક ક્ષણ હશે. કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સમાં ભારતનો ગૌરવપૂર્ણ ઇતિહાસ છે. બર્મિંગહામ 2022 માં ભારત મેડલ ટેલીમાં ચોથા સ્થાને રહ્યું.
નાઇજીરીયા, જે રેસમાં પાછળ રહી ગયું છે, તેને કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સ એક્ઝિક્યુટિવ બોર્ડ દ્વારા ટેકો મળ્યો છે અને તે વ્યૂહરચના વિકસાવવા માટે સંમત થયું છે. નાઇજીરીયા 2034 કોમનવેલ્થ ગેમ્સનું આયોજન કરી શકે છે.
