આજે મેન્સ હૉકી એશિયા કપ 2023માં કયામતનો દિવસ છે, આજે ફરી એકવાર બે ચીર પ્રતિદ્વંદ્વી ભારત અને પાકિસ્તાનની ટીમો આમને સામને ટકરાઇ રહી છે.
Junior Asia Cup 2023 Final : આઇપીએલ પુરી થઇ ચૂકી છે, હવે સ્પૉર્ટ્સ ફેન વધુ એક મોટી સ્પૉર્ટ્સ ઇવેન્ટની રાહ જોઇને બેઠા છે, ત્યારે આજે ફરી એકવાર રોમાંચનો દિવસ છે, આજે મેન્સ હૉકી એશિયા કપ 2023માં કયામતનો દિવસ છે, આજે ફરી એકવાર બે ચીર પ્રતિદ્વંદ્વી ભારત અને પાકિસ્તાનની ટીમો આમને સામને ટકરાઇ રહી છે. આજે એશિયા કપ મેન્સ હૉકી ટૂર્નામેન્ટ 2023ની જુનિયરની ફાઇનલ મેચ રમાશે. આ મેચ એટલા માટે પણ મોટી છે કારણ કે આમાં (ભારત vs પાકિસ્તાન હૉકી) ભારત અને પાકિસ્તાન આમને-સામને હશે. મેચ ભારતીય સમય અનુસાર રાત્રે 8 વાગ્યે (1 જૂન) શરૂ થશે. ભારતીય ટીમ કૉરિયન ટીમને હરાવીને ફાઇનલમાં પહોંચી છે, તો વળી, પાકિસ્તાની ટીમે સેમિફાઇનલમાં મલેશિયાને હરાવીને ફાઇનલમાં એન્ટ્રી મારી છે.
સેમિફાઇનલ મેચમાં ભારતે કોરિયાને ખરાબ રીતે હરાવ્યું હતું. ભારતે 9 ગૉલ કર્યા જ્યારે કોરિયા માત્ર 1 ગૉલ કરી શક્યું. સેમીફાઈનલમાં ભારત માટે ધામી બોબી સિંઘે 3 ગૉલ કર્યા હતા. 9 ગૉલમાંથી ભારતે પેનલ્ટી કૉર્નરથી 2 ગૉલ કર્યા જ્યારે 7 ફિલ્ડ ગૉલ હતા.
પાકિસ્તાનની વાત કરીએ, તો એશિયા કપની સેમિફાઇનલ મેચમાં તેને મલેશિયાને 6-2થી હરાવ્યું હતું. પાકિસ્તાન તરફથી અબ્દુલ રહેમાને સૌથી વધુ 3 ગૉલ કર્યા હતા. પાકિસ્તાને પેનલ્ટી કૉર્નરથી 3 ગૉલ કર્યા હતા જ્યારે 3 ફિલ્ડ ગૉલ થયા હતા.

ભારતનું પલડુ રહ્યું છે એશિયા કપમાં ભારે -
ભારત અને પાકિસ્તાન આ પહેલા ત્રણ વખત જુનિયર એશિયા કપની ફાઇનલમાં ટકરાયા છે. પાકિસ્તાનની ટીમ વર્ષ 1996માં ચેમ્પિયન બની હતી, તો વળી, ભારતીય ટીમ વર્ષ 2004માં વિજેતા બની હતી. 2015માં મલેશિયામાં આયોજિત છેલ્લી એડિશનમાં પણ ભારતે પાકિસ્તાનને હરાવી આ ખિતાબ પર કબજો જમાવ્યો હતો.
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, પુરુષોની જુનિયર એશિયા કપ હૉકી ટૂર્નામેન્ટનું 8 વર્ષ પછી થયુ છે. 2021ની એડિશન COVID-19ને કારણે રદ્દ કરવામાં આવી હતી.
મેન્સ જુનિયર એશિયા કપ 2023 ભારત અને પાકિસ્તાન ફાઇનલ મેચનું લાઇવ સ્ટ્રીમિંગ ભારતમાં watch.hockey વેબસાઇટ પર ઉપલબ્ધ રહેશે. ભારતમાં અંડર-21 કૉન્ટિનેંટલ ઈવેન્ટનું કોઇ લાઇવ ટેલિકાસ્ટ નથી થતું.
